A very sudden death occurred on Thursday last. A man named John Neil, a comparatively recent arrival who had been working at Homebush, was suffering from fever. It was decided to remove him to the hospital. On the way there, the patient was taken worse, delirium supervened and the poor fellow died before he reached the hospital. A post mortem revealed the fact that his lungs were heavily congealed and this no doubt was the immediate cause of death.
